RDWorks: How to import SVG files

The latest version of RDWorks is able to import SVG files, but it’s hidden in a menu.

First, do File > Import…

Then you need to open the menu labeled “Files of type:”, like so:

Then choose “SVG Files (*.svg)” and then you’ll be able to select the SVG file you’re trying to import:

The above instructions should work, but in general users have reported many frustrations with RDWorks. We’d recommend considering switching to LightBurn instead for driving your laser. You can download a free trial to see if it will work for your laser cutter.
