Earn passive income designing Cuttle templates

  • The Cuttle Creators program lets talented designers post their templates for Cuttle Pro subscribers and earn royalties when their work is downloaded.
  • Our top Creators are earning four figures per month in royalties.

Application process

Applications for the next batch of Cuttle Creators are now open!

The process runs in three phases:

  • Application window - July 6 to August 3 Fill out the form below and share Unlisted links to three templates you've made.
  • Review period - August 4 to August 17 We evaluate submissions and may reach out asking for adjustments to your templates.
  • Final decision & onboarding - August 18 onwards We'll notify all applicants of our decision and get accepted Creators set up on the platform.

What we're looking for

Based on interest, we expect the application process to be competitive. Our target is 5 - 8 new Creators for this batch. We’re keeping the batch small so that we have the resources to support each Creator well and keep Cuttle’s quality standards high.

Here’s what we’re looking for when evaluating applications:

  • Attention to detail. Clear parameter names, good defaults, and designs that hold up when users customize them (for example, text templates should work with both long and short names). Templates do not need to be complicated — simple is often better! — they need to be compelling and fool-proof. Follow Cuttle’s Template Guidelines.
  • Strong cover photography. Your cover image is the first thing a customer sees. We expect photos that look like professional product listings: well-lit, tight crop, a clean background. It should show people what they can realistically create with the template.
  • Niches that are underserved on Cuttle. We’re looking to expand the breadth of the catalog, not have more of the same. If you specialize in an area that’s currently underrepresented that’s a strong bonus! Some example areas we feel have potential: nurses, gamers, QR code signage, lighted signs, compelling uses of 3D printing and UV printing.
