xTool: SVGs are not importing at the correct scale / dimensions
xTool will sometimes resize designs smaller if they are bigger than the canvas. This is a big problem for any SVG file where you care about the precise dimensions, like laser cut boxes.
You can ensure xTool does not resize your designs with these instructions.
In xTool Creative Space, when you import the SVG make sure you choose "No, display it in the original size" at this dialog:
This will preserve the actual, true scale of the SVG file.
If you instead choose "Yes, scale it to fit on canvas" then xTool will scale the SVG down to fit on its canvas.
If you don't get this dialog, you might have checked "Remember my choice" in the past. In this case, in the xTool menu open Settings.
In the File Setting section, you'll see an option called Import Setting.
Choose "Ask me every time" or "Keep its size" if you always want SVGs to import at their physical scale.
