A simple two piece Mid Century Modern plant stand designed for quick assembly. The stand uses interlocking slots and rounded legs to create a sturdy base with a classic silhouette that works well for small to medium planters.
This template is fully parametric so you can adjust plant size, leg proportions, and material thickness to fit your material and design style.

How It Works
The stand consists of two mirrored pieces that slot together at the center. Once assembled, the legs form a stable base while the upper platform supports the planter.
No glue is required for a tight friction fit, but wood glue can be added for a permanent assembly.
Slot Fit Thickness?
This template does not include kerf compensation. Use the Slot Size Test project to find the best fitting slot size for your material, then set the Thickness parameter to match. This produces more consistent press fit results across different materials and lasers.
Alternate Uses
While designed as a plant stand, this piece also works very well as a candle holder.
Many standard pillar and jar candles fit securely within the opening, making it a great option for tabletop decor, seasonal displays, or centerpieces.
If using with candles, always place on a heat safe surface and never leave a lit candle unattended.
