Text behavior
Each line of text is placed onto its own slat automatically.
Text size adjusts based on available space and margin settings.
If you enter fewer lines than slats, extra slats will remain blank.
If you enter more lines than available slats, text will be clipped.
For best results, match the number of text lines to the number of visible slats.
Scoring vs engraving
You can choose how the text is marked.
Scoring is faster and ideal for quick cuts. Try to de-focus for darker score.
Engraving produces deeper, darker text but increases cut time.
Double sided text
Use this for centerpieces or crates that will be viewed from multiple directions.
Disable this option for faster cutting when only one side will be visible.
Slat layout and offset
Slats are automatically duplicated to fill the crate height based on your settings.
You can offset the slat layout if you want to adjust visual balance.
Use small offset adjustments. Large offsets can push slats outside the crate.
If you want fewer slats, increase slat height or slat gap instead of using large offsets.
Handle option
The handle cutout is optional and fully adjustable.
Keep the handle centered for best strength, especially with thinner materials.
Assembly notes
This template is designed for press fit assembly based on your material thickness and kerf settings. Glue is optional depending on material and fit preference.
