Stained Glass Year Established Family Sign

This faux stained glass design is perfect for people like me who do not have a steady hand. No need to worry about making smooth lines when your laser can do it for you! This is a perfect way to display your wedding year or celebrate another large milestone for your family.

Check below to see the paints I used for my photo to get the same look! There is also a pdf you can download to color in to help you choose your colors.

Export this as a PDF for yourself or customers to help you visualize what colors you want to use in your design by coloring it in.

Assembly

  1. Cut the backer on clear acrylic and the front (with 3m attached or use glue after) out of which ever faux lead color you'd like (I used black, but have seen gold and other colors used as well!)

  2. I used 3m on the back of the black to more easily attach but you can use glue if you'd like. Attach the front design to the clear backer

  3. Use the paints linked below to fill in all areas. The clear bottle helps make the non-colored portions textured making it look like real stained glass.

  4. Let dry and you're done!

I used the following materials to "paint" the acrylic to look like glass (*affiliate links)
