Tattoo Swallow Name Tag

Public

Double-layer tag with name, inspired by traditional tattoo design.

  1. Update name as needed.

  2. Download SVG File

  3. Cut backer from 1/8 acrylic

  4. Cut outline + details from 1/8 acrylic with 3M or comparable adhesive on the BACK of material.

  5. Cut name from 1/8 or 1/16 acrylic with 3M or comparable adhesive on the BACK of material.

  6. Assemble by placing outline on backer, then placing inside pieces of bird and flowers like a puzzle. Add name last.

  7. Optional: Use "Keychain Thingies® – Riley Black Designs" plastic hardware for attaching keyring - hole for hardware is sized based on their recommendations.

FILE KEY:
Blue = Score (name letters only)
Red = Cut

FILE DIFFICULTY: Beginner/Intermediate. There are a handful of small pieces to keep track of, but it is pretty simple to follow the image as a guide.

Note: this is set up as a double layered design for everything except the hole for hardware. We only have that included on the back piece for the default because having it layered and equaling 1/4" is too thick to pair with the recommended keychain thingies - they won't close. If you only have it on one of the pieces, keeping it 1/8", it works great. Both versions of the outline and backer pieces (with and without hole) are included if you open the cuttle editor, so if you plan to use this with another type of hardware or with ribbon and want that extra sturdiness, you can find it easily.

Colors used in sample are from CMB:

  • Black gloss acrylic

  • Red fabric shimmer acrylic

  • Hazy fireside acrylic

  • Lemon pearl acrylic

  • Cyan pearl acrylic
