Valentine's Scallop Heart Trinket Tray

These scallop heart trinket trays are perfect for holding rings, earrings, and small keepsakes. Choose from two shapes, circle or rounded square, and two different sizes. A fun and functional project ideal for gifts, Valentine’s decor, or everyday organization.

Instructions:

Note: This design includes a kerf adjustment to ensure a snug fit when inlaying the heart into the scalloped frame.

Base Layer: Color or paint the engraved text on the heart (optional). Glue or affix the scallop heart frame and heart to the base.

1. Inner Frame: Glue or affix the inner frame on top of the base. If you’re using 1/8" acrylic for this frame, be sure scallop heart frame and heart are also 1/8" thick or thinner so everything fits inside the frame properly. If you’re using 1/4" acrylic for the frame, this thickness restriction doesn’t apply, just keep the layered decorative pieces at 1/8" thick.

2. Clear Layer: Glue or affix the clear acrylic layer on top of the base layer.

3. Add the Frame(s): Glue or adhere the top frame layer(s) over the clear acrylic layer. Two frame layers are recommended if using ⅛” acrylic, whereas only one frame layer is needed if ¼” acrylic is used.
