Create a playful Valentine’s jar shaker tag filled with tiny hearts that move inside the layered design. Personalize each mini heart with initials, symbols, or icons to make a truly meaningful keepsake.

Instructions:

  1. Attach the Base Layers: Glue or adhere the bottom plywood layer and the separator layer together. (If using 3M tape, attach it prior to cutting as needed.)

  2. Add the Shakers: Drop the heart shakers into the center.
Note: Ensure the material used for the hearts are the same thickness or thinner than the separator layer so they can move freely.

  3. Seal with the Clear Layer: Glue or affix the clear acrylic jar on top to keep the shakers contained.

  4. Add the Frame: Glue or adhere the top frame layer over the clear acrylic layer.

  5. Attach the Charm: Add the personalized heart charm to the tag.

  6. Finish with Ribbon: Thread string, ribbon or cord through the top opening of the jar to attach the shaker tag to gift bags, baskets, or Valentine treats.

Materials:

⅛ Plywood (shown is Maple Plywood from Glowforge)

⅛ Acrylic (shown is French Vanilla from Cerulean Tides, red, and clear)

Ribbon, String or Cord (shown is 1.5 mm Nylon Satin Cord)
