DIY Camping Coloring Set

Create a cozy camp scene with this DIY camping coloring kit! This set includes a wooden campground background plus colorable camping pieces like a tent, lantern, camp sign, sleeping bag, backpack, cooler, tree, water canteen, stars and moon. Kids can color, paint, and arrange the pieces for a fun hands-on camping adventure.

Instructions

1. Color the background and pieces.
   Color or paint the details on the camping background and all of the loose camping pieces with paint markers, acrylic paint, or your preferred coloring supplies. Let everything dry completely before assembling.

2. Build the tray frame.
   Glue or adhere the frame layer pieces on top of the background piece. These frame pieces create a raised tray edge to help hold the camping pieces inside the scene.

3. Let the frame dry.
   Allow the glued frame layers to dry fully before adding the loose pieces.

4. Add the camping pieces.
   Place the tent, lantern, camp sign, sleeping bag, backpack, cooler, water canteen, stars, moon, trees, and other camping pieces inside the tray to create your own campsite scene. These pieces do not need to be glued, so they can be moved around and rearranged.
