Cactus Planter Charm

Create a cute cactus planter charm to hang from your favorite plant pot! This design includes two styles: a layered version perfect for colorful acrylic and a single-layer scored version that can be cut from wood, colored, or left blank to show the natural wood grain.

Instructions

1. Choose your design style.
   This file includes two cactus planter charm options: a layered version for acrylic and a single-layer scored version for wood.

2. Customize the planter, if desired.
   Add a name, short phrase, or plant-themed saying to the front of the planter before cutting. You can also leave the planter blank.

3. Cut your pieces.
   Cut the layered acrylic version from your favorite acrylic colors, or cut the single-layer version from wood. The scored version can be colored or left blank to show the natural wood grain.

4. Color the scored details, if desired.
   For the single-layer wood version, color the details with paint markers, acrylic paint, or your preferred coloring supplies. For the layered version, color the scored details.

5. Assemble the layered acrylic version.
   Glue or adhere the cactus, planter, and flowers to the backer piece, using the edge as a placement guide. Let the glue dry fully before handling.

6. Add the hanging hardware.
   Attach jump rings through the side holes of the cactus planter charm. Add a chain to each side. On the other end of each chain, add another jump ring and attach it to the hole at the top of each plant hanger stake.

7. Display your charm.
   Insert the plant hanger stakes into the soil of your plant pot so the cactus planter charm hangs from the front of the pot.
