Is it possible to make the middle solid so that it can be engraved later? I'm thinking for holiday markets...

Here you go: Just enter the Cuttle Editor (three little dots next to "Customize this Template", Choose the second Component on the Left side Menu titled "Engrave Blank". Go to the File Menu and Export SVG. There is no option to engrave at the time it is cut. Hope this is what you wanted. Happy Crafting!
