Personalize the name and year on this two-layer Cake Topper. The name is automatically welded to the backer, providing a place to glue it.

Assembly

The two layers allow you to cut the backer from one material and the name from an accent material. Here we used black and gold glitter acrylic from Custom Made Better. (Use code CUTTLE10 for 10% off!)

For gluing acrylic to acrylic, we recommend applying a peel-and-stick adhesive (such as 3M 468MP) to the back of the name material before cutting. Then you can peel and stick it to the backer. There’s a great thread in the Facebook Group about what specific products and brands people like!

The name is automatically welded to the backer and an optional inset score line is added to help you align the placement.
