Child Handwriting Ornament

A keepsake Christmas ornament cut to the shape of your child's actual handwriting — they write their name in marker, and the template engraves it onto a birch ornament with the year underneath. A sweet annual tradition or a thoughtful gift for grandparents.
Tips:
Get the kid to write with a thick black marker on plain white paper — cleaner contrast = cleaner engrave. Snap a photo or scan, crop tight to the writing with no extra background, and upload as a PNG or JPG.
You may need to adjust the year position and scale parameters to make it appear more centrally on the ornament.
Size will automatically be adjusted to the width parameter
Make a fresh one each year — kids' handwriting changes so quickly, and you'll end up with a beautiful collection lined up on the tree.
