Tips

• Avoid using MDF for this project. The sticks sit in soil and will be exposed to moisture, which can cause MDF to swell and break down

• Plywood is a better choice for durability. For added protection, mask off the pattern area with tape and apply a waterproof seal spray to the sticks before use

• Keep stick length just long enough to anchor firmly without burying too much material

• Increase pattern density for climbing plants and reduce it for lighter, decorative support

• Use wider spacing for herbs and tighter spacing for vines that need guidance

• Acrylic works well for indoor plants but may need slightly thicker settings for strength
