3D Print A-Frame Easel Stand

Create this easel-style stand by updating the following:

  • height: overall height of the easel. A good height to start with is 75% of the total height of your sign.

  • lean angle: how far back the stand tilts. Stay between 10–20 degrees — 15 is a great default.

  • ledge width: how deep the slot is that holds your sign. This should be slightly greater than your sign's thickness.

  • ledge depth: the height of the lip that keeps your sign from sliding forward. 0.18–0.25 in works for most signs.

  • leg thickness: how chunky the arms of the stand are. 0.25 in is a solid default for most prints.

  • 3D layer height: the width of the stand. Since this prints on its side, this number controls how wide the base is. We recommend making this at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the width of your sign for a stable display. Alternatively, you can print two of these at ~1-2 inches width for a larger sign.
