An Outfold Tray is pretty basic. It is glued on high speed gluers and shipped flat. Sometimes an outfold tray is used as the bottom and an infold tray as the top in a top / btm setup. An outfold is easier to load, and because it collapses inward, it is sometimes preferable having an infold on top. It creates a better friction fit.
If you are someone who just wants to make a typical top and bottom tray, and glue it yourself, if you are using folding carton paperboard:
Increase the Length and Width dimensions by 0.125". This allows the top to telescope over the bottom.
