Beginner friendly build, clean snap together assembly with no glue needed. The white sample pictured is colored using alcohol inks for a soft blended look.
⭐ HOW I COLORED THE 1/16" WHITE ACRYLIC ORNAMENT USING ALCOHOL INKS
Keep the masking on the acrylic, this makes cleanup simpler.
Moisten a cotton swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
Add a tiny drop of alcohol ink to the swab.
Dab the color onto the engraved areas, letting the inks blend naturally.
-> -> -> Less is best here, as the inks will blend and flow quickly. <- <- <-Allow the inks to fully dry, (they dry quickly!) then remove the masking.
If any color leaks outside the engraving, clean it gently with fresh isopropyl alcohol and a clean swab or paper towel. It cleans up easily since the inks adhere to the engraved areas of acrylic! Inks will adhere to score lines too.

⭐ ABOUT THE ROCKING HORSE CONSTRUCTION
This rocking horse is made from two matching horse-shaped sides and three snap-in connectors.
Each connector is identical in shape, with a centered slot in the middle.
Only one of the connectors is actually used for optional hanging, the top one.
The other two connectors simply snap in to hold the ornament together and keep both sides aligned.
They all share the same shape so the assembly is easy and intuitive, even though only the top connector’s slot is functional.
Once snapped together, the ornament becomes a sturdy two layer piece that can hang or rock on a flat surface.
