This is a simple bed for kids to learn to sleep without falling out.

This can be cut at 1:12, 1:24, 1:48 scale.

Using the "Advanced" parameters almost any of the sizes can be changed.

  • Gift to someone who likes small things.

Material

Laser:

  • Baltic Birch plywood

  • MDF

  • Acrylic

Cricut

  • Chipboard

Additional:

  • Glue

  • Fabric for bed cover

  • Foam for mattress

  • (optional) Accessories (pillows, blankets, etc...)

  • (optional) baby doll

Assembly

Here they are out of the laser.

"Dry Fit" to make sure that you know where everything goes:

Paint: It is much easier to paint before you glue. A good wood glue should still hold together even over the paint.

Glue

  • Sides to bottom

    • make sure the legs are both pointing down.

    • the sides are opposite each other.

    • the "bolt holes" are facing out.

  • Headboard to the tall end of the bed.

  • Footboard to the short end of the bed.
