Miniature quilting frame

For when your doll has a quilt they want to make or display.

Please be aware this is a super fragile build. Only for display, not for play or young children.

Material thickness (recommend at LEAST ⅛" thick for this), Width, Length, Height are all adjustable. Add your own makers message as well.

Uses

Material

Recommend hard materials.

Laser:

  • MDF

  • Baltic Birch plywood

  • Acrylic

Small nails (brass preferred), Glue and Paint or stain will help complete.

Assembly

Here they are out of the laser.

Prepare the parts: A light sanding to remove the smoke. and some stain to achieve the color you want. (if painting, be careful to leave glue areas bare wood)

Use a ¼" brass nail in each "Wheel". Glue the wheel to the holes in the "Tee". Pay special attention to the "good" vs "smokey" side of the wood (or sand off the smoke).

Glue each "crossbar" to the opposite side of the "tee" from the "wheel".

If using a "Makers" message, be sure to orient the crossbar so that the message is visible from the bottom for the lower "crossbar"
