Display Box

A template for an easy fold two part box. The top has a large oval for display of the contents. (can be hidden) This box can be made any size you like.

Uses

I used it to make miniature easter boxes, but it could hold anything you want to protect and display: shirts, baked goods, candy, crafts, etc...

Materiels

I used 60# (pound) card stock paper, which is fine for small boxes.

I would use heavier cardboard for larger projects.

For small boxes I used glue (have a rubber band, string or twist tie handy to hold it while the glue dries.) Anything from Elmers / tacky / modge podge should work.

Machine

I used a Cricut to cut and score, but this works just as well on a diode laser, take a minute to test power and speed so that the score line goes more than ⅓ through the materiel, but less than ⅔. This will assure an easy fold, while still keeping the box intact.

Assembly

If there is a display hole, you may want to cut a clear piece of plastic the to fit inside the top. Fold both top and bottom in the following order.

If the slits in item "c" are not helpful, use a dot of glue.
