New Template: Rainbow Name Sign 🌈

Our latest template lets you generate a personalized three layer Rainbow Name Sign by typing any name.

• The name is automatically sized to fit nicely on the rainbow
• The letters are connected with score lines between letters to make them pop
• The name is welded to the rainbow arches layer, providing a solid place to glue it
• Score lines are added to the backer to help you align the rainbow arches
• You can customize the size of the sign, and there are options for zero, one, or two hanging holes

The template has two options for cutting.

Option 1: The rainbow arches behind the name are connected into a single piece. This works great for painted signs!

Option 2: The rainbow arches are separate cuts, so you can cut each one out of a different material. This works best if you are cutting the arches from multiple colors of acrylic.

Once assembled, the acrylic one looks like this:

In Federico’s livestream last week, he showed how to make a customizable standing sign with any text. He shows how to make the text — including with symbols like the heart. Then he makes the offset and base. Towards the end he explains how to use kerf compensation to get a tight fit on the slot.
