Personalized “Look What I Made” Fridge Magnet 🎨

Our latest template is a “Look What I Made” fridge magnet that you can instantly personalize by typing any name.

• Choose from a variety of backer shapes (flower, heart, rounded rectangle, etc)
• Choose any font
• The name is automatically sized to fit
• Dots on i’s are automatically connected
• It generates a backer with a spot for placing the name
• You can also customize the engraved “Look what _ made” text

We’re thrilled to once again participate in Laser Craft Fest!

Laser Craft Fest is a free 3 day virtual event where 25+ laser experts host hands-on workshops showing techniques for doing more with your laser.

It’s happening April 8 - 10. Here’s how it works:

New Pro Fonts ✍️

We licensed three new fonts for the Pro font library: Elementary and Girls Rule by KA Designs, and Sunday Melon by Blush Font Co. Each of these are “Unicase” fonts (there’s no separate uppercase and lowercase characters).

Here’s a trick with the Girls Rule font: you can use a | character instead of i to create an i with a heart dot.

We also added another free Single Line (scoring) font, Twin Sans by Keith Packard.

New Free Templates Page 🆓

We added a new category showing all of Cuttle’s Free Templates to the Templates area of the site. This shows all of the templates you can download without a Pro subscription.

Video Tutorial: Make a Floating Frame with Scalloped Edges 🖼️

In Federico’s livestream from last week, he shows how to tweak the Floating Frame with Chicago Screws to have scalloped edges. He uses the Tile Repeat modifier to add circles around the frame, and rounds the corners to get a wavy look.

Here’s the template he created.

Other Improvements and Fixes 🐞

• There is now a Bulk Production feature for the Easter Money Holder template. Thank you Alexa B for the suggestion!
• When you share a project that uses your own uploaded fonts, we now show a warning that other people won’t be able to use those fonts if they haven’t uploaded the same font file on their account. We also show a similar warning if your project uses Pro fonts — other people will need a Cuttle Pro membership to download projects using Pro fonts.
