Join Cuttle Creators - Earn passive income designing Cuttle templates

Cuttle Creators are talented designers who make new templates for Cuttle Pro subscribers, earning royalties when their work is downloaded.

We started this as a pilot program in March and it’s been a huge hit! Creators have added over 250 new templates to the Cuttle template library and have earned thousands of dollars in royalties.

We’re now ready to onboard a new batch of Creators. To apply, first read about how the program works, then submit an application. Your application will need three candidate templates that you make following our template guidelines. If you’ve never made templates before in the Cuttle Editor, it’s not too hard! Check out our quick tutorial series on making your own templates.

Video Tutorial: 3D Printing with Cuttle

In Federico’s last livestream, he demonstrated Cuttle’s new beta feature that lets you export 3D Printing Files (3MF and STL files) directly from the Cuttle Editor.

He shows how you can use this new feature to 3D print a wide range of designs including keychains, trays, pen holders, coasters, and more!

Improvements to Family Names Christmas Tree Ornament

We made some improvements to the Family Names Christmas Tree template.

The top shape is now an icon picker, which means you can also put any icon from Cuttle's Noun Project integration.

We updated it to use the standard Preview and Cut pattern, so when making trees with backers it's easier to work with.

New Pro font: The Sandbar

Did you know that Cuttle Creator Tara also designs fonts? We licensed her font “The Sandbar” for Cuttle’s Pro font library. This one works great for laser cutting!

Other Improvements and Fixes 🐞

  • Significant performance improvements for Weld And Score and Remove Overlaps
  • Added a “one hole” option to Circle Monogram Name Sign. Thank you for the request Katrina RB!
  • When generating custom filenames, the _filename magic parameter now works as either a component or project parameter
  • In a font’s “Show More Options”, we now support using the connect: dots and letters option in tandem with letterSpacing. connect: dots and letters will automatically smush the letters together so that they just touch (so it cuts in one piece), then if you change the letterSpacing those adjustments will layer on top of the initial connecting phase.
  • Added more Learn pages and did some minor design updates
  • Added Learn More links on some of the Modifiers in the Cuttle Editor
