Family Names Crossword Sign

Our latest template lets you type a list of names to create a family names crossword sign of any size.

After we released the Family Names Crossword Ornament, several folks suggested we add a template for a larger, rectangular sign.

If you are selling the Crossword Ornaments, this sign would be a great upsell to offer your customers!

To use it, simply type the names and it will lay out the crossword for you instantly.

You can then customize the top and bottom text and change the size of the sign. Make it a square or rectangle — it will automatically adjust the layout of the crossword to best fit the size of the sign.

The top and bottom text is welded to the frame.

The text on the letter tiles is engraved, as are the optional “points” numbers in the lower right of each tile. Score lines are automatically added between the tiles so that the whole crossword comes out as one piece from the laser cutter.

A backer is also created, with an inset reference score line to help you center the crossword when gluing.

You can also add paws and other icons to any of the text by clicking the Paw icon on the right side of any text field. 🐾

Federico’s last three livestreams

Federico’s weekly livestream is coming to a close at the end of this year. We want to play with new formats next year, like more structured videos.

The last three livestreams of the year will be:

• Today, Dec 4, at 1pm PT / 2pm MT / 3pm CT / 4pm ET
• Thursday Dec 11 (same time)
• Thursday Dec 18 (same time)

Federico will still be around and will continue recording little Q&A videos to answer questions on the Facebook Group.
