I was working at the SnoCo maker space and someone came in looking for a custom item.

They have a tent built into the rack on the back of their pickup truck.

They also have a heater that is in the pickup (moved outside while operating).

They wanted to have something that could be put inside the zipper to hold the 3" hose coming from the heater.

They had a .STL file, but the 3D print person wasn't handy, so I said I would take a crack at designing it in Cuttle.

Took about 10 minutes, and another 5 to cut.

This is cut from Baltic Birch at ⅛" thick.

the two pieces with the deeper groove at the ends are the outside, and the other is the middle (see the second picture). The middle is slightly smaller (total of a half inch less at the center). When glued together, this leaves a continuous grove around the object.

We tested with a zip up hoodie, and it seemed to work.

So here is the file if anyone else wants to solve a similar problem.
